ABOUT ME

Tory Callaghan Castor is Senior Vice President of Government and External Affairs for Indiana University Health. In this role, Tory directs IU Health’s legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts before federal, state and local governments, their agencies and other related entities. Some of her more recent accomplishments include reforming Indiana’s telehealth laws and leading the coalition which successfully enacted Indiana’s first-ever statewide smoking ban. She also oversees the planning and implementation of the Health District, an IU Health initiative that is focused on improving the health of patients, employees, visitors and neighbors with place-based and programmatic improvements and investments to the area surrounding IU Health’s downtown Indianapolis medical center campus.

Prior to joining IU Health, she owned her own government affairs firm advocating on issues ranging from healthcare to renewable energy. Tory was also an associate attorney at Bingham McHale LLP, now Dentons. She serves on several boards, including United Way of Central Indiana, 16 Tech, IU Health East Central Region, Little Red Door, and Cathedral High School. Tory is a graduate of the University of Dayton, cum laude, and its School of Law. Tory and her husband Mike have two daughters, Evelyn and Claire.
