TANUJA SINGH
PRESIDENT
UNIVERSITY OF INDIANAPOLIS
ABOUT ME
Dr. Tanuja Singh became president of the University of Indianapolis in July 2023. She previously served as the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs at Loyola University New Orleans.
Since arriving at the University of Indianapolis, Dr. Singh has met with hundreds of corporate and civic leaders. With input from all stakeholders she has led the creation and approval of a new strategic plan for the University which is focused on relevance and growth, leading with existing strengths, new programs, and enhanced partnerships. This focus has led to a new mission statement and a new vision statement for the University. New programs developed under her leadership include UIndy Online, the Women’s Executive Leadership Institute, and new international partnerships with prestigious universities in India. Philanthropic support has also reached historic heights under her presidency, including a transformative six million dollar gift to expand the Ron and Laura Strain Honors College, and the recently announced five million dollar gift to create the Stephen F. Fry Business Scholars Program, Distinguished Lecture Series, and Faculty Innovation Fund.
