Sharon M. Moe, MD, is the Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research, Co-Director of Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI), Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research for the IU School of Medicine, Director of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, and the Stuart A. Kleit Distinguished Professor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Moe is the principal investigator for several ongoing basic and clinical research studies in the field of Chronic Kidney Disease -Mineral Bone Disorder (CKD-MBD). She has authored over 300 publications and textbook chapters and has mentored more than 60 pre/post docs and MD scientists/fellows. She served as a Councilor/Executive Committee Member for the AHA Kidney in Cardiovascular Disease from 2002-2004, a Councilor representing the USA for the International Society of Nephrology in 2005, and Councilor of the American Society of Nephrology from 2008-2015, serving as President in 2014.
