MEGAN CARRICO
SENIOR DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
INDIANAPOLIS AIRPORT AUTHORITY
ABOUT ME
Megan Carrico is the Senior Director of Public Affairs at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND), where she leads external communications and community engagement strategies that advance regional tourism, economic growth, and public trust.
With a decade of service at IND, Megan has been instrumental in shaping the airport’s role as a dynamic hub for tourism and hospitality. She oversees a growing portfolio that integrates strategic partnerships, arts and culture programming, and community initiatives, ensuring the airport remains a connected and creative civic partner.
Megan serves on the Indiana Repertory Theatre Board and the Indy Partnership Council. She remains actively engaged with her alma mater, Ball State University, supporting the School of Journalism and Strategic Communication and the Women of Beneficence.
Her leadership has been recognized with honors, including IBJ’s 40 Under 40, the PRSA Hoosier Catalyst Award, and Ball State University’s Graduate of the Last Decade.
Megan lives in Indianapolis with her husband and their two children. As a proud mom, she values time spent outdoors and being present in the little moments—whether that’s exploring museums, playing in city parks, or finding creative ways to be silly with her kids. She’s passionate about showing them the joy of discovery and staying curious about the world around them.
