John joined Old National Bank in 2022 after a thirty plus year career with a major competitor bank. He started his career in Detroit, where he worked for ten years and has spent the past thirty years in the Indianapolis market. John has held leadership positions in Indianapolis Middle Market banking for eighteen years. He is experienced in leading top-performing teams and has a deep background in credit, capital markets and leadership.

Outside of his role at Old National Bank, John teaches an MBA class at Indiana University-Indianapolis (Kelley School of Business) and a Finance course at Marian University. He is the board Chair for the Center for Leadership Development, sits on the board of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and holds a board seat with a technology finance company, Intrepid Finance.

John is a graduate, majoring in Economics, of DePauw University with an MBA in Finance from Indiana University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has held Series 7, 79 and 63 Securities licenses. John lives in Indianapolis, with his wife, Liz, and is the proud father of two adult children, Jimmy and Julia.
