ABOUT ME

Jason T. Eckerle is regional president of PNC Bank in Central and Southern Indiana.

Prior to being named to his current role, Eckerle served as Midwest regional executive for PNC Commercial Banking, where he was responsible for a team of 120 banking professionals and relationship managers that provided comprehensive banking solutions to privately held companies across the Midwest with $5MM to $50MM in annual revenue.

Eckerle brings almost three decades of experience in commercial and corporate banking to the PNC Regional Presidents organization. He began his career as a credit analyst in 1995 for First of America Bank, which later became National City Bank, and advanced from relationship manager to sales manager within Commercial Banking. In 2008, PNC acquired National City and Eckerle was named market leader for Commercial Banking in Indiana.

An Indianapolis native, Eckerle has helped champion PNC’s local philanthropic efforts through his advocacy and volunteerism for PNC Grow Up Great®. He is a board member for Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Indy Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Central Indiana, the 500 Festival, Ascend Indiana and Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee. In addition, he also serves as a member of Business Equity for Indy and serves on the Early Education Works steering committee under United Way of Central Indiana. Previously, he served as a board trustee of the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and is a former board member of the Easter Seals Crossroads Rehabilitation Center. In 2008, Eckerle was named one of Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Class and in 2024, he was named one of Indianapolis Business Journal’s Indiana 250 Most Influential Business Leaders in Indiana.

Eckerle earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Government from Indiana University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Butler University. While at Indiana University, he participated in the Washington Leadership program and was an intern with Indiana Senator Richard Lugar.
