GREG STOWERS

ABOUT ME
Greg Stowers is a lifelong Indianapolis resident dedicated to engaging, empowering, and exposing people to civic and leadership opportunities. As Chief Administrative Officer of the Indianapolis City-County Council, he oversees daily operations and provides strategic policy analysis to all 25 City-County Councilors. With experience across public, nonprofit, and private sectors, Greg has built a broad network of leaders across the country, connecting communities to policy, advocacy, and innovation.
His commitment to community and culture is reflected in his extensive nonprofit leadership and volunteer work. He serves on the boards of Indy Hub, Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation, Flanner House and Indianapolis Indians Charities. He is a proud member of Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Class XLVIII and Indy Hub’s 1828 Leadership Project Class VI. In 2023, Greg was recognized as one of Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 for his leadership and impact, and in 2022, he was selected for the Congressional Black Caucus Institute's Political Leadership Development Program.
Greg also leads Hashtag Lunchbag Indianapolis, an initiative that educates volunteers on homelessness, food insecurity, and compassion – while providing over 40,000 meals to people in need. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from Indiana State University.
