EMILY KRUEGER
PRESIDENT & CEO
16 TECH INNOVATION DISTRICT
ABOUT ME
Emily C. Krueger is the President and CEO of 16 Tech Community Corporation, the non-profit responsible for the 16 Tech Innovation District, a transformative 50-acre mixed-use development in downtown Indianapolis created to advance innovation, collaboration and economic opportunity.
Krueger joined 16 Tech in 2018 as its chief operating officer and was named President and CEO in 2022. She has been instrumental in evolving 16 Tech to a dynamic place that is home to more than 200 member companies, including all three of Indiana’s Tier 1 research universities. Under her leadership, 16 Tech has prioritized investments in the public realm and expanded its team to broaden program offerings that support early-stage entrepreneurs and workforce development.
Prior to 16 Tech, Krueger worked in private equity and on Capitol Hill.
A graduate of Valparaiso University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, Krueger is a former Fulbright grant recipient. In 2024, she was named to the Indiana 250, honoring the state’s most influential leaders.
