In December 2021, Dan Parod, MA, became the Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis President. Prior Dan served Ascension St. Vincent as South Region President In Evansville.

Prior to joining Ascension St. Vincent, Dan served at Rockford Health System (now part of Mercyhealth) in Rockford, Illinois, in varying capacities including Senior Vice President, Hospital and Administrative Affairs .

Dan received his Master of Arts in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois.

Dan’s wife, Holly, is a school Social Worker. They have two adult children. In his free time, Dan enjoys boating, gardening, and outdoor activity.
