LISC INDIANAPOLIS

ABOUT ME

Brandon Taylor is an accomplished community development and program management professional with over a decade of experience advancing human-centered neighborhood transformation. As Executive Director of LISC Indianapolis, he provides strategic direction and leadership for the local office of one of the nation’s leading community development financial institutions.

Prior to this role, Brandon led LISC Indianapolis’ workforce development initiatives, integrating them with the organization’s broader community development efforts to enhance quality of life, close the racial wealth gap, and foster vibrant local economies. He originally joined the LISC Indianapolis team in 2022 as a Program Officer for Family Income and Wealth Building, where he supported the leadership, management, and growth of the Bridges to Career Opportunities program. In this role, he provided financial and technical assistance to neighborhood partners while strengthening cross-sector collaborations among community-based organizations, anchor institutions, and public and private stakeholders.

Before returning to Indiana, Brandon served at LISC Philadelphia, supporting local partners on community safety, engagement, and capacity building priorities. He also previously worked as a Program Manager at The Trust for Public Land, where he oversaw the design and construction of parks and playgrounds throughout Philadelphia.

Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Studies with a minor in Architecture from Cornell University. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his wife and their three children.
