ABOUT ME
Alan K. Bacon, Jr. is Co-Founder and Chief Strategist of GANGGANG, where he champions equitable opportunities for artists and creative entrepreneurs. He co-curated BUTTER Fine Art Fair and We. The Culture at Newfields and played a vital role in the NBA All-Star 2024 Host Committee's arts initiatives in Indianapolis. As co-founder of the I Made Rock N' Roll festival, his work has been featured in People magazine and Essence. Recognized among Indiana's Top 250 most influential Business Leaders, Bacon previously served as Harrison College's northwest campus president and led social innovation at United Way of Indianapolis, managing a fist-time million-dollar anti-poverty fund. The Indiana University graduate's impact spans from the American Midwest serving as a member of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee to Johannesburg, SA, where he led technology education efforts. Beyond his professional work, Bacon is an artist, musician, and dedicated family man.
