VICE PRESIDENT OF REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Jacob is the Vice President of Indy Partnership, the regional economic development business unit of the Indy Chamber. In his role, Jacob focuses on workforce development and business attraction for the Indy Region. The former Executive Director of the Blackford County Economic Development Corporation, Jacob served on the East Central Indiana Regional Partnership Board and as President of the East Central Indiana Development Council. During his tenure, Blackford County’s unemployment rate dropped more than 40%. Previously, he was Director of Planning and Research for the Alliance for Strategic Growth/Eastern Indiana Workforce Investment Board.
Prior to his eight years of executive leadership in economic development/workforce development, Jacob held positions at two Fortune 500 companies, and worked as an entrepreneur. A Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), Jacob is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, and has a Cum Laude Business degree from Ball State University.
