DIRECTOR OF EVALUATION
LILLY ENDOWMENT, INC.
Jackie Dowd is the director of evaluation at Lilly Endowment where she is responsible for working internal to the Endowment and with grantees in conducting research, assessment and evaluation of philanthropic commitments in community development, religion, education and youth programs.
Prior to joining the Endowment in 2016, Jackie served in the Daniels and Pence administrations with responsibilities for reforming policies and improving administrative practices related to workforce development, adult education, postsecondary career and technical education, youth initiatives and the State’s cross-agency and longitudinal data sharing and reporting capacity. During her time at the State, Jackie served as executive director to Indiana’s Workforce Investment Board, as executive director to the State’s Indiana Career Council and served on the Governor’s cabinet.
Before joining the State in 2009, Jackie served as project director for a Lilly Endowment grant at Butler University. Additionally, Jackie served as the director of constituent services for a U.S. Congressman where she worked for seven years.
Jackie holds a BS from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, an MBA from Butler University and is a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash.
