Vince is responsible for development, execution and communication of the strategic direction of Roche Diagnostics in North America. This includes leading market research, strategy and competitive intelligence teams to analyze the diagnostics industry and set the company’s short- and long-term direction, and all communications activities, including marketing communications, media relations, charitable giving, executive and employee communications, digital marketing, and event management.
Vince is a member of the CEO’s leadership team, the North America Diagnostics Executive Committee, where he works directly with the CEO and other senior leaders.
Since joining Roche Diagnostics in 2003, he has held positions in business development, strategic planning, global marketing and contracting. In Roche Tissue Diagnostics, Vince led a number of initiatives, including Launch Excellence, the creation of the International Pathology Patient Safety Advisory Board, and the global commercialization of the VENTANA HE 600 system. Most recently, he was Senior International Business Leader for Primary Staining.
He holds a B.A. in economics and government from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law. While working in Beijing, he completed an intensive Mandarin Chinese language program.
