DIRECTOR OF PARTNERSHIPS
Mary Azar Callahan is responsible for communications, marketing, event management and sales strategy operations for executives of the Midwest and Government Not-for-Profit Division of Chase Business Banking. She also is the secretary-treasurer of the Indiana Market Leadership Team of JPMorgan Chase. Previously, Mary managed operational business initiatives for Chase’s Commercial Banking business in Indiana.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Mary worked in the non-profit and higher education industries. She was the Associate Director of Conferences and Special Events at Butler University, responsible for strategic conferences, special events, alumni and donor engagement activities. She also worked with the Indiana Republican Party directing state-wide fundraising, outreach and internship programs, and special events.
A graduate of Leadership United, Mary currently is a board member for Girl Scouts of Central Indiana serving on the executive committee as Board Development Chair as well as a committee member for their Lieutenant Governor's Leadership Luncheon. She is also an active board member for Downtown Indy Marketing, Inc. Mary previously served as executive committee member with United Way of Central Indiana’s Women United and United Way of Central Indiana’s Emerging Leaders. She was on the steering committee of the Indianapolis Zoo Associates Council and Girls Inc. of Greater Indiana board intern.
Mary received a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in American politics and public policy from Purdue University. She studied at Oxford University in Oxford, England and attended the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Science Research at the University of Michigan. She is presently pursuing advanced marketing from Cornell University.
Mary lives in central Indiana with her husband and their two children.
